DSMIC 1 Posted January 3, 2014 Now I have tried joining multiple random servers that say "You may be kicked" or "Admins Only, you will be kicked" as a 'message of the day' now I'm confused about what this is, if it's a test server, then why not lock it and disconnect it from the database? Is this just peoples way of having a server to abort to? Or just to get geared? A 'Get-out-of-jail free' card for server hoppers? Could somebody explain to me what is going on with these servers? Beck (DayZ) 1768 Posted January 3, 2014 This is a server with abusive admins. You should get the IP and report it to the GSP.

xkkx14 2 Posted January 3, 2014 Yeah they're probably admins who want to gear up on their empty server, then go switch to a public server to cause chaos.

Info on how to report them here http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/158966-server-reporting/ I reported a gameservers.com server to Gameservers.com support today. This is what they had to say: "DayZ server admins that are kicking are violating the terms of service. This is beyond our control.ThanksPaul Adamczykwww.gameservers.com" Apparently, Gameservers is unable to moderate their own servers. So...if the DayZ mod teams says report it to the server host and then the server host says they can't do anything and basically foist it back on the DayZ moderators...um...so...wat? Chauz 166 Posted January 4, 2014 (edited) Gameservers has to make people follow the terms of service, they just trying to take the easy way and ignore it because they might loose money if they terminate the servers. And if they wanna check it they have to visit each server themself just to check out if they are getting kicked. Edited January 4, 2014 by Chauz

gannon46 788 Posted January 4, 2014 i have been seeing servers listed as a test server and states do not join and usually has one or 2 cats on the server i've thought about joining just to see what would happen. i think its an armory more or less for some jumpers and ghosters.
