irichey25 17 Posted January 2, 2014 A Carebear could be refereed to as many things, really it's who you ask. If you ask me I'll give you two definitions. One: Some bear thing on a child's cartoon showTwo: A player on Day Z who doesn't like KOS. Once again all depends on who you ask.

Really, anyone that doesnt shoot somebody on sight is called this by the CODHorde, and i dont even know what that means. Well, generally it is used as an insult to people who likes to play games in a certain way.Kind of like 'CODHorde' is, no?

maliceubx 73 Posted January 2, 2014 (edited) The term Carebear has been around since WoW PVP. It's basically someone who has no interest in player vs player interactions whatsoever and want to be 'friendly' and work together with everybody. wild_man 4442 Posted January 2, 2014 (edited) I find this in online dictionary  ;)Care Bear1. Lightly derogatory term for an MMO player who avoids PVP combat, heavily preferring cooperative or solo PVE combat, chatting, or developing tradeskills/running quests. Depending on the game and the individual, this PVP avoidance can show up in several ways: by playing on strict non-PVP servers; by avoiding PVP areas or declining duels; or, by avoiding or condemning PVP players. Philosophically, they often cite unbalanced combat systems, overpowered guilds, ebayed characters, and ganking as reasons to prefer less aggressive play. The mindset can be self-sustaining in several ways: high-level "care bears" may have avatars that are tailored for PVE, not PVP; they may not network with skilled PVP players; or, they may morally refuse to learn aggressive PVP tactics. As an insult, the term applies less to players who merely prefer PVE to PVP and more to individuals who question the basic legitimacy of PVP or who greatly overreact to their avatars' deaths. Bear in mind that it is strictly incorrect to refer to the victims of heavy exploiters as Care Bears. Abbreviated CB. Compare with RPK, Player Killing/PK, PVP.2. Adjective describing a strictly PVE server or game. Edited January 2, 2014 by KoS
ratiasu@hotmail.co.jp 122 Posted January 2, 2014 Basically the same as you calling people CODhorde, despite the fact most people here don't play that sorry rehash-over-and-over excuse of a console game. Just the other side of the spectrum. So don't you complain about it OP, you're the same.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_pot_calling_the_kettle_black
