How "Hostage" Situations Work

We caught a few server hoppers in the PD at the Balota airfield, we had originally meant to disarm them, and then let them leave alive, but they obviously didn't understand how we handle a "hostage situation" when their friend tried to be a hero.

You use that word WAY too much... My guess is that they are server hoppers that knew they had friends who could save their asses. But since we don't know anything about them, everything we could think would be "presuming" wouldn't it?

So a server hopper spends all day/week hopping, But stops hopping when meets your gun?

Would more likely hop if met by a gun than anything else tbh.

You killed a normal survivor in cold blood but cos you feel guilty or you dont want to be flamed by the Dayz pacifist brigade you are claiming they were server hoppers!

 

You are really no different from the rest of us, Although you have a twitch channel and trying to get subs, so your preaching to the choir.

That is actually a twitch stream, if you would like to watch the video feel free. Maybe then you would realize they were clearly hoping to the server. I guess our definitions of "server hopper" are different.

A server hopper and a combat logger are different.

That is absolute rubbish, i often play with a group of up to 6-8 friends and we always manage to gear up just fine on fully populated servers without having to server hop.
