What Dayz Needs to add (Fast)

I am sure you will all agree, there are far to few styles of bobble hats in Dayz and if its going to survive as a zombie post apocalypse survival game, it needs more. Maybe ones with 2 bobbles, maybe more colors, or some with LEDs and musical tunes in them, you get the idea.

 

But on a serious note (cus this was just a bit of fun), why does a bobble hat (Zmijovka Cap) and other none stiff caps take 2 spaces in the inventory screen? when folded up in RL, no special way, kinda fast, they are about the size of a standard bean can.

There are enough cIothes and hats for the moment... No need to put more in before major things got adressed

 

Other things are much more important Iike new features to test. Cooking, harvesting, hunting, animaIs, more zeds, spawning Ioot, more crafting and interaction with the worId and other pIayers... And of course game optimisation.

 

That the priority things not new hats and stuff

I think they should add NPC helicopters that kill everyone who kills on sight.

Maybe, if the npcs have appropriate bobble hats.

That's awfully debatable. Those things you discuss are features which require varying amounts of effort from actual developers, whereas new headgear at this stage of development is simply content. Adding new hats, helmets, etc. can likely be done entirely without developer intervention. You just draw up some new models, put them in the library of available items, and compile the game. The people working on "game optimization" are not the same people who would be adding green hats to the game.

 

Further, there's more to headgear and accessories than just looks. They're a huge boon to squad tactics and in-game communication (i.e., everyone on your team wears the same outfit). Having more options is definitely a big benefit and would require a very small amount of effort.
