is the public server administration so restrictive that it doesnt allow for that? ...

it's not arma, they rebuilt the who standalone from scratch.

Admins do not currently have a lot of features as of yet(server restart warnings is one of them), we do have the Kick function. Which doesn't do a hell of a lot but it's something.

 

I am hopeful the next patch will contain some of the features we need, MOTD's, Reserved slots and GMT settings to name a few.

meh no prob with wipes ... but i had like 4 med kits out and rearranging shit ... then server restart without warning, those are things that should be tackled before you make anything available for the public.

well i doubt the public servers will have more administration than the mod publics had, so basically none and youre not allowed to use it ... etc .. pp.

hope it will be different for private hives though.

No actually I don't know why. It probably has something to do with disabling side chat. I'm sure they will fix the issue though.
