How do you prepare to log off?

Recommended Posts

It would be funny if your character remained in the game even when you are logged off.  Like put them to sleep or something.  Maybe as an option for hardcore servers...just to increase the realism.

I get comfortable in my chair and flex my index finger and push the log off button with enough pressure to send a signal from my mouse to the computer that then tells the game to log off and then I wait for an update.

Rinse..repeat...

Then while they are asleep we can sharpie 'Dick and balls' over their faces and tea bag their chins... :D

I am under the command of four month old twins so abandon ship regardless of where I am which isn't always in the most Ideal locations but priorities and all.

Find a nicely wooded vantage point at least 500m away from any road or building where I can have a good look around without being seen when I log back in later.

I go somewhere where others can't hear the *click* *clack* sound when you log on again...

Without a vehicle: Wherever the f*ck i want. Though i usually go into some trees or inside a building if possible.

With a vehicle: Park vehicle in wooded area, back up 50-100m, pull out primary and then prone. Ain't nobody gonna be stealing my car while i'm logging in.

In forests or in the corner of some loot-bare building. I did once log off in NW AF control tower but was fine when I logged back on.

Some times I like to go back to the coast, grab a new spawn, make him swap everything with me (except my pistol) so I look like a new spawn and he starts fully geared, then log off on the beach.  When I log back in and a bandit tries to hold up the new spawn, out comes the pistol... "SURPRISE MOTHER TRUCKER"!!!!  Killed at least 3 bandits this way so far.  The biggest trash talker that I took down, squealed like a little girl on comms when I pulled out the pistol, it was amazing.

That click clack is the hopper noise you hear in Barracks and other high tier buildings, very handy.;)

Ok am I the only person who cannot stay prone when I log in, or is this widespread throughout?  I would like to stay prone if I log off and I'm on top of a tower or something.  Seems like a no brain feature.
