Multiple characters

Hey all, I'd like to know if in the future we'll be able to have more than one character, I can't play alone because I'm always with friends and if I do I need to find them again.

You can have multiple characters. You just need to change your profile name. Then change it back again when you want to play with your other character :)

I think they need to fix that, so easy to exploit and there is no limit how many characters you can create?

I think they'll give us an option to make more characters, why should we set the only (for now) character we can have as default? Because we'll have more :)

Kinda takes out the survival aspect, since you can just log another character with gear after dying to go hunt the player that killed you.

No thank you for extra characters, one character, one run for your life, you die, you start over. DayZ.

I hope one character is all we get. Makes the game more enjoyable.

They should fix that issue with the steam name change.

Everytime I play, I go with my squad. But I'd like to play the lone wolf too and even team up with him again, if the first character died.

There is only one character available - even if you change your name and edit your face you will spawn with the same gear as before.

1) I think the profile thing doesn't work. I changed my profile name and spawned with all the original gear.

 

2) we can create a second character on the experimental severs by going into steam and selecting experimental version, but I don't know if you can switch back and forth. Anyone do this?
