game needs a patch with something to do

At this stage....DayZ needs bug tracking/fixing, not content.

DayZ UI / HUD Photoshoped *UPDATED*

I'm also not a fan, reminds me of a web based UI not a game UI. Try thinking out side the box!!(with rounded corners) WHY do you need to keep the inventory in the same order as the Alpha has now? It's only been slapped together in it's current state as a place holder. How many times have you come across a huge pile of items lying on the ground that would require an entire left hand window to display? umm... NEVER! you might see 2 - 3 items MAX! Try something new. Think about what is available NOW! Consider the fact that our characters are rotatable within this UI, why not allow the items we wear(bags / vests etc) be selectable? further reducing the amount of window space needed. I personally think the UI is to obstructive. minimalise, minimalise , minimalise

    1.7.* Infection WIP Update

Randomize the spawn locations for Antibiotics... increasing the spawn rate at any one location is just asking to be camped.

    1.7.* Infection WIP Update

I'm enjoying the current infection mechanic, i think it should be left as it is. Giving players an hour to find alcohol sounds far too easy to me(spawn rates depending), unless there were some negative side effects in doing this...? Slowed speed, wobbly aim, coughing etc Taking the alcohol may stop you from dying, but other effects remain until you fine the cure (antibiotics) I've already seen a change in players games style since the patch and it certainly for the better.
  7. I think a padlock and key(paired) would be a great addition to dayz. The padlock could be a single use item(on camping tents only) with the key staying on the player but lootable apon death. If the key is looted, the camp site would still need to be discovered before its of any use. The player could also loot their own corpse for the key if quick enough. What do you think?
