There should be a trade off. Forest dwelling creatures are more dangerous. Field dwellers are domesticated and not a threat.

The advantage of domestic game is that it gives more meat and you won't get hurt by your prey. The disadvantage is that you have to expose yourself to gut your kill. My .02
