What is alpher? Is it slang for Alpha? Never heard it before, why do people say it here and on no other place on earth that I know of?

Its to do with rockets accent, Watch a few dev blogs and listen to how it sounds when he says Alpha.

Rocket has got an unfortunate accent. I'm a New Zealander and so is he apparently. But he sounds more Australian to me the way he talks. But its not quite Australian. Its just not a New Zealand accent. Or some strange kinda accent mixed with others. He was in the army and overseas but hat wouldn't change your accent much.
