Walkie talkies

[Geordie (DayZ) 4]

After playing this game for the last few day i've now come across a walkie talkie, which is unfortunately badly damaged. I have a few of questions to pose for those that are in the know:

 

1. Can it be repaired or should i just throw it away?

 

2. How do i use it, would i need to add a battery or do i need any additional equipment like a transmitter ?

I found one too, not sure what it does. It's possible the item is in the game but it they haven't implemented its use yet.

I've heard that people are using them already, but how true that is I don't know.    A fellow Geordie or NUFC fan i take it?  :D

I don't believe their in use yet. I'd ask one of the testers like hetsteak for a more accurate answer :D

Oh man SO COOL if it works. And EPIC if the walkie talkies did proper walkie talkie sounds.
