Has anyone found anything in barns?

Something I've noticed is that literally every barn I've been in, across all the different servers I've been in, regardless of whether the server's been up 2 hours or just restarted, I don't find a single bit of loot.

 

Am I just massively unlucky, or do barns just plain not have loot anymore?  I mean, I even searched in between the bales of hay and the boxes, and nothing.  

 

Kind of a shame really, I always liked going to barns because they were good places to hide in if I needed to rest and alt-tab out, so the chance at decent low to mid-level loot was a  nice plus.

This is a good point, now that you bring it up.

 

I think maybe I found something on the ground level one time. Other than that (and it could have been an item a player dropped) I have never found anything up the ladders.

Never found anything in the short/tall barns, but I have found a lot of different loot in the long brown and long white barns.
