Why is my character moaning? not hurt, only thursty. What gives?

Anyone have any idea why I'm hearing the sound of my guy moaning a bit?  I was hit by a zombie one time...bled a bit, bandaged right away after killing said zombie and everything looks fine.  Nothing is blurry.  I have sardines I've eaten slowly, and am only a bit thirsty.  

 

Any ideas?

You need to clean your wounds I guess. Try alcohol or some antiseptic.

Hapenned to me, too. But I think once you bandaged your wounds without using alcohol first and you got an infection, alcohol won't help anymore (even though it might say you used it to clean your wounds). In my experience so far if your character starts to moan the only way to get rid of it is by using multiple charges of antibiotics. 

 

To prevent this happening at all make sure to desinfect your bandages with the spray and clean your wounds with alc before applying the bandage. Also I could imagine there is a lesser chance of infection if you use the medical bandages from medi packs.

 

Those are all just assumptions and could be entirely wrong :)

Yeah same with my guy. He started moaning because a zombie graced him. From the tone of his moaning I knew he was just throwing a hissyfit.

So I dealt with him like I do kids - Ignored him until he stopped and then reward him with a can of soda.

 

Although he managed to drink disinfectant spray earlier and is now throwing up and moaning again. I swear it's like dealing with a retarded person.

I cleaned my wounds and It did not fix it, luckily i had found morphine in the hospital, when I used it the pain dissapeared.

I believe the bandages found in med kits are already doused with disinfectant or according to the tool tip it has something on it, and is not just a plain rag.

Packaged bandages are safe, although I would THINK it helps you still clean wounds with alcohol before hand, just in case.  Also, my guy was moaning for a while too, longer than I felt he should have been, after I ate vitamins, a ton of food, and painkillers.  He continued to whine and say "oh fehck that herrts" until when I relogged - it was gone.  So MAYBE there is a bug that prevents your character from not complaining anymore even after he is okay.  If you feel as if the noises are uncalled for, try to relog in a safe spot and see if it went away! :D

I jumped over a 1st floor barrier instead of taking the stairs and he started moaning. Maybe you jumped off something?

 

He wasn't moaning before that.

 

But, I am currently covered in bandaged wounds and been grey/blurred for about 3 hours. 

 

If anyone would like to trade any of my crap for some antibiotics and water, give me shout!
