shandrew82 (DayZ) 3 Posted December 19, 2013 http://imgur.com/BqFQfIT This message keeps popping up EVERY time I open dayz. After clicking OK or x'ing out of the message, dayz starts up just fine. The 1st time I started up dayz it didn't pop this up, but every time afterwards it has (I got it in the first few hours of release). I have tried validating my files with steam, and no errors or anything popped up. Is anyone else experiencing this issue, any ideas on how to fix it? :/ Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

kichilron 8550 Posted December 19, 2013 Try verifying your DayZ-Files by rightclicking DayZ in your Steam library and choose "Properties". Go to "Local Files" and "Verify Files" (don't know the exact one, as mine's German ;) ). If that doesn't fix try a reinstall and see if it still happens. rocket 16567 Posted December 20, 2013 Ive seen this bug with ArmA before, try deleting your profile files in my documents > DayZ and also in DayZ other profiles. I THINK that fixes it, if not, google the same error but for ArmA2. It's some kind of corruption in the settings file. icrush 18 Posted December 20, 2013 (edited) Yes, i'm getting the same message too. I'm afraid of trying fixing it and my character disappear. Also, on the menu where we choose servers and etc, the background where my char should be is all white. Anyone getting this too? http://i.imgur.com/izrBiA1.jpg It's kind of annoying.
