digitgreen 5 Posted December 17, 2013 I have the bipod for the M4, and I have no idea how to use it. (I have no professionalism so I'm keeping this short.)
Zarniwoop 1193 Posted December 17, 2013 First make sure it is the right bipod for the right weapon. Once attached, right click on its icon in your inventory screen, and click on the option available.

LaurenceW 18 Posted December 18, 2013 I found a bipod yesterday and was wondering how I deploy it. Is there a key for this?
livesolong101@gmail.com 3 Posted December 18, 2013 You have to go into your inventory hitting "TAB" then right click on the bipod that is attached to your gun. An option should pop up that says "deploy bipod." Hope that helps

Katana67 2907 Posted December 18, 2013 Yeah, gotta' deploy it via inventory. Sort of cumbersome, but much better than not having any attachments in the mod. I hope they can manage to link the attachment actions to keys, for example pressing "L" again to switch on a weapon-mounted light. As of now you've got to access the inventory every time you want to turn it on/off, which can be a death sentence if you're trying to quickly remain stealth. Skat3rat 1633 Posted December 18, 2013 Thanks for this. I've been trying to figure out how to use mine.
jwill339 0 Posted December 22, 2013 Would love it if the flashlight and the bipod were usable (deploy/retract or turn on/off) if added to your "action bar"
Perfectdark (DayZ) 2 Posted December 22, 2013 Bring back "L" for the light and maybe something like "B" for the bipod or just keybinds for them pls.

Beto666 6 Posted September 2, 2014 I didn't have any issue deploying it but didn't notice any difference being prone with it deployed on my m4.

Bororm 1156 Posted September 2, 2014 Would love it if the flashlight and the bipod were usable (deploy/retract or turn on/off) if added to your "action bar" I'd rather see this option than assigned keys as well. I want things to remain some what cumbersome/require some thought.
