Yep ;) alright, here are the damages folks.

 

 

 

 

5.56mm = 3555

 

.45 ACP = 4179

 

7.62mm = 8267

 

Shotgun pellets = 3555

 

Shotgun slug = 15125

 

Please note these may or may not correspond to actual blood loss. Just a method of comparing relative to each other.

 

 

 

 

 

Will be updating this later with damage drop-off at range, zeroing and bullet drop figures. Placeholder post!

 

 

 

Also, I have some comments on improving the fidelity of the external ballistics (for example, .45 ACP currently loses too much velocity compared to IRL figures). However that will wait for later! :lol:

 

 

 

 

List of stuff that should be fixed

 

1. Slugs and pellets appear to be fired at around 900 m/s. Impossibly fast. Should be 430-490 m/s for slugs, 365-400 m/s for pellets (buckshot).

 

.2. 45 ACP has an airFriction of -0.0018 (taken from ArmA 3) but the value should actually be about -0.00072.

 

3. Mosin-Nagant has a muzzle velocity of 930 m/s  (same as 5.56mm) but the value should actually be about 850-870 m/s.

Hello there

 

Interesting stuff, keep it coming.

 

Perhaps use spoilers for folk who wish to be involved but dont want to see the detailed figures?
