I play in this particular server whenever I can, and it is often populated with a number of players from a particular clan. One of these players seems to come with some 'legendary' status as being unstoppable, mostly people say he is hacking, but I am not so sure.

 

He is the usual bandit KOS kind of guy, this whole clan is, but I don't have a problem with that. To me he just appears to be very good at killing all the other faggots on the server, I have managed to miss him thus far, but succumbed to one of his mates in a HUMVEE once.

 

At what point do people stop thinking 'this guy is good' and start thinking 'this guy is a hacker' and why does that point seem much easier to reach the younger you become.

 

Any thoughts? or feel free to just gripe in general about faggots that claim hacks every time you smite them for being stupid!

It could be either or.

There are plenty of decent players but there are also plenty of people that use map hacks with their little friends to get the jump on people.

I'd just try and find a better server.

The A2 engine is very susceptible to hacks so i really don't blame people for claiming hacks, because it does happen alot.

 

Obviously it is possible for players to be simply good, or get extremely lucky, in my bandit days i believe i pulled about 40-45 kills on one character? so yeah its possible to simply play well, especially when you see ArmA veterans come on to dayz servers, thats when things get ugly for us dayz casuals.

 

My verdict is that yes anyone who is doing extremely well on a server COULD be hacking, but unless there is any proof there is no real reason to accuse them of it, in fact its best not to. if you think someone is hacking say nothing and see how they kill you, they will get sloppy at trying to hide it.

 

allot of servers are now running a very strong anti cheat now too, so if this server is running said anti cheat i wouldn't worry too much.

or they have admin tools which view exactly where you are and give themselves loot ultimate gear then come straight to you. this is the most common answer to servers like this.

 

when you on see who the server is run by this way you can see if they have live watch admin tools ;) or ask them if they have the tools , warning if you ask and they are abusing the tools youll probably get booted as you rumbled them :lol:
