One simple question... is it safe, if I download DayZCommander will it mess up my computer or not.

It is perfectly safe, as long as you download from the DayZCommander site.

I was on the site and I was smart enough to figure out that some of the ads on the site are virus giving download page but I was still curious if it was safe

using adblocker and stuff should get you past all that rubbish.

Unfortunatly some people are still having trouble due to the way the site is set up.

Scroll down to the last download tab Install Dayz Commander.

 

It ain't rocket science, just check what you are downloading.

Yeah, there is a bunch of other crap that tries to install from that site. You have to scroll down to find the actual commander install. I just did this a couple of days ago.
