Recommended Posts

So, I am a Computer Tech, In hardware repair, And I cant Fix this issue.

My Rig is as follow.

Fx 6300 3.4 stock, But I overclock it to 4ghz

7850 2gb Oc 930mhz clock

4gb ram

7200rpm 150mb/s Terabyte HDD

970de3us3e3 Mobo,

In day z and Arma 2 I get around 32fps NO MATTER WHAT GRAPHICAL SETTINGS I SET,

Ultra is 32-28fps

Very low with 50% 3d resolution maxes out at around 42fps

NO MATTER WHERE I AM AT.

But before we all jump on my drivers, On Battlefield 3 on ultra I get around 64fps, I really dont understand whats happening. if someone can help me Id be a happy Camper.

I'm not sure how much of an issue it is, but I don't think ArmA likes the 6 cores of the 6300.

I disabled Vsync,

dulix11- Could I just make arma2 use 3 cores and overclock them?

Try using this as your startup parameter: -cpuCount=3

Try the difference in fps between vsync on and off, that didn't make a difference on my end other than tearing with vsync off.

Hmmm.. I have 6 cores and it runs perfect.

Then again - I have only ever run it on this system consciously and don't have anything to compare it with. Yet - I never had any issues whatsoever.

It is depending on so many different factors, that you can't really figure out what the reason is without taking a look at it yourself.

I bet it was a server issue, it makes no sense whatsoever why it should run better with 3 cores.
