burritoman259 593 Posted November 20, 2013 Do you have Vsync enabled? Just a shot in the dark.
dulix11 731 Posted November 20, 2013 I'm not sure how much of an issue it is, but I don't think ArmA likes the 6 cores of the 6300.
ray02945 0 Posted November 20, 2013 I disabled Vsync, dulix11- Could I just make arma2 use 3 cores and overclock them?
TIC 1050 Posted November 20, 2013 I disabled Vsync, dulix11- Could I just make arma2 use 3 cores and overclock them? Try using this as your startup parameter: -cpuCount=3
ray02945 0 Posted November 20, 2013 (edited) Try using this as your startup parameter: -cpuCount=3Lo and behold, I have 65+fps now, God..... Edited November 20, 2013 by ray02945
enforcer1975 1111 Posted November 20, 2013 Lo and behold, I have 65+fps now, God..... Try the difference in fps between vsync on and off, that didn't make a difference on my end other than tearing with vsync off.
kichilron 8550 Posted November 20, 2013 Hmmm.. I have 6 cores and it runs perfect. Then again - I have only ever run it on this system consciously and don't have anything to compare it with. Yet - I never had any issues whatsoever. It is depending on so many different factors, that you can't really figure out what the reason is without taking a look at it yourself. nik21 287 Posted November 20, 2013 I bet it was a server issue, it makes no sense whatsoever why it should run better with 3 cores.
