Turbo Key = Usain Bolt?

So I just saw a battle royale livestream and the guy kept tapping 'W' quickly because it was his "turbo key", after like 30 seconds he was getting the same speed as a bike or a motorcycle. Wtf? Does this work in vanilla too? If it does, anyone know if it will work in SA?

Because it's SO overpowered.

Considering I've never seen this before and it would otherwise be a well known exploit, I doubt it. Sounds like hax to me but that's just my immediate assumption.

 

EDIT: or I suppose it could be restricted to Battle Royale but if that's an intended part of the mod then that's silly.

That is like playing COD 10 day survival mod.
