Look, when it's in a good state to release they will. May not even be this year with the basics still being worked on.

The hype train left the minute the SA was announced. Remember, one small thing can destroy the current build. Calm down and wait, play another game, go out with your friends, build a fire, think about where you want to be in a years time.

Climb a mountain, join a club, listen to a new album, buy a car, learn to drive, pay your taxes, kiss a girl / boy. Smoke me a kipper. Visit a new place and talk to the locals.

Live a little, even if it means going out to the shop, barbers, food outlet, ride a bike, catch up on Facebook, organise a reunion. Go clubbing, find a decent pub. Call your old friends and apologies for past indiscretions.

This #Hypetrain has now been rolling and stopping and again rolling and again stopping for an year with me now but i still come to this Forum every day to check if there is something new and now that we are so close i'm so damn excited because it will be just so awesome to finally play this game.

 

Anyways to be honest i'm glad they took a whole year to make a diffrence and not just bring a SA out wich was just  a bit better then the Mod.

It is kind of funny isn't it? Dean says when they have 50 players on the server and it runs good they will probably release the alpha very soon. But that means they can wait as long as they want to, if they never attempt to test the servers with 50 players the game will simply never release. They can update the game and have a good excuse "Well, we haven't tested it with 50 players, sorry...", in the meantime they have time to polish the game for the release.

 

Not sure if that is the case, but if I were Dean and if I wanted the SA to look good when it first arrives I would do the exact thing.

tbh we havent had a hype word this month , last month was " network bubble " so this month i think the next buzzword should be " mince pie " .

think with the current lack lustre games and how messed up they are ala bugfest4 and cod dogs people want somethnig interesting to play which is good fun and not some indie mess like many people will obviously suggest :lol:

really am hoping its out for christmas and not gunna be some kinda nasel voice applied " well we were gunna release for december but....i thought with it being christmas and winter close its not quite ready. it should be ready soon we just got to implement (new buzzword ) and it maybe ready for (no date given ) on a totally unrelated note matt found a horse chestnut under a boomerang this is a good sign on how things are progressing.

 

you cant beat dev banter ! always seem to focus on totally random bs when all people want to know about is release dates or features :D

We all know there a a lot of people with notebooks, with gamenotebooks. I have 3630QM, 660M, 8GB, no SSD. I think, this is good for developers say us also notebooks processors and videocards in requarnents. I'd like if you say this rocket. My english is very bed, i'm sorry.

~yes, but notebooks are not minimum system, there are minimum, average, good and so on. A can play Crysis23 for example on maxm with 30+fps. I think developers have different notebooks so they can test and say. Sorry for eng.

Actually, waiting for the standalone is like time wrap. I feel like E3 was yesterday. And I remember Dean saying "when the SA is not out until gamescom I will have a hard time"... well feels like he said it today.

Arma 3 is running better.  I don't know if it's the DayZ mod that I recently installed on it or what, but my Arma 3 ran like crap before and my rig is pretty good.
