Will pine trees & docks be safe havens in the Standalone?

Recommended Posts

Not sure if any of the mods that are testing the Standalone are at liberty to speak about this.

I really hope you can no longer run to docks, or run into a simple pine tree to avoid zombies in the Standalone.  I hear that standing under helicopter blades has the same effect.  Presumably since it's being made by Bohemia, those kind of mod-related issues can be overcome.

Rocket said no more bush wookies hiding in literal bushes, as far as I know.

I have no idea for sure but judging from the latest in game images, it seems they've removed a lot of pine trees from the towns and replaced them with other trees. I'd be just as happy if you couldn't get into the pine trees at all.

Docks aren't a big issue to me as I don't spend any time around them.

I sure hope zombies don't float on water and attack you while swimming as well..

Hiding from other players in bushes and pine trees... need that.

Docks... agreed. Way too dangerous and open.

Sure, hiding from players and even zombies in terms of visuals as one thing, being in a collision cone is another.
