La5A2 holo VS m14 aim

Ok so might make this a normal thing but for now i am doing it on these guns.

What one is better? I am talking about these guns because I had a choice between picking one and i got the m14,but dont know what one is better.

I hate the dmr but love the m14, and it has great power not matter what, but the la5A2 is full auto and has a good cqc sight.

Also it is automatic and its ammo is all over,but the dmr mag is a rare thing and is only found with m14 and dmrs while la5A2 ammo comes with any m4a1 gun.

so what one is the best for fighting zeds and players at close range?

despite what some think, m14 is a good cqc gun. since they smoothed door movement you can carry it  easily and ammo is not so a pain (imo) the sight is not bad and hip firing a 8k damage gun is best than a 3.5k one. fire rate is decent.

anyway, if you find yourself relying on a full auto mode you did something wrong. m14 is one of the best since +10m to 400m(this not recommended range).  it is a bad choice to deal with zombals friends..it's loud as fuck.

 

l85 has that peculiar sight i don't really love, but stanag rifles are always solid. good damage and versatility. quoting dayzdb, this model must have low recoil..fitting newcomers(bah)

Now they have fixed the indoor movement, i would always choose the M14. Ammo is everywhere.

M14 is a damn good all rounder, over distance and in CQB it's lethal. 2 shots to the chest and down goes your target.

 

The L85 is a funny weapon, not greatly powerful and not many people like the sights for them (i love SUSAT). However when it comes to firing straight and true the L85 does just that, Spits out rounds as quick as you can click and if you are down sight you can group your shots real close up to about 300m but anything any further away becomes pointless as the rifle hasn't got the final kick to drop opponents first time round at those distances.

 

Ammo for both weapons are plentiful but for newer players the M14 is the weapon i would suggest.

M14, definitely.

 

Personally I'm no fan of the L85, but with a holo site? Definitely not.

 

The M14 is good up close and afar, very accurate, and very deadly even up to its maximum range.

I like it because lots of people have dmr mags because they hope for dmrs,that being said I rarely find it any where other then boides or one or two mags here and there.

I mainly use the m14 on namalsk though.

M14 all day, every day. I'm better with that at 3-400m than I am with the DMR. The advantage the L85 has is full auto and larger mag ,but wtf would you need that for unless you're a "spray n pray" player.

The only gun I woud consider over an M14 is the Sa-58 CCO or possibly the M4A3 CCO but just becasue it looks awesome.

 

That includes snipers, LMGs and everything else.

Problem with the m14 is the noise. The m14 outclasses all other rifles in every characteristic but noise. Firing an m14 in or near a town can spell disaster for a player who is not prepared for the horde.

For running around cherno or elektro I would prefer a 5.56 rifle (in this case the l85), but for any maneuvering or engaging in the countryside the m14 is the obvious choice.

IMO the akm and sa58 should be the most powerful assault rifles in the game. The m14 smashes the skill curve.

M14 is very versatile since you can use it close/medium/long range it doesn't matter. Plus it does a ton of damage. Only problem is it's on the loud side and it's too overkill to use on zombies (you CAN but it's like going fishing with grenades)

The fact that it is found out side of citys most of the time is why its like that.

The city is no place for a m14 :)
