audax 207 Posted September 26, 2013 sooooo... after some months of work away from my pc, now i can redownload this mod ^^ and my question is. Now the steam version is still bugged than the client one? (dayzcommander etc)
Mos1ey 6301 Posted September 26, 2013 I haven't actually tried the Steam version but most people still use DayZ Commander.

mzltv 2281 Posted September 26, 2013 I live by commander i cant use six i absolutely hate itThis. DayZ Commander offers a lot of decent functions, I find.Easy pipeline updates for all the mods of DayZ mod, as well as ArmA Beta Updates, DayZ source code updates and the option to download additional mods to use alongside DayZ (such as JSRS Sound Pack [which I recommend to everyone reading this]) Maybe Six does these as well, but as previously mentioned, I can't stand it - the interface makes me want to chunder. OrLoK 16185 Posted September 26, 2013 Hello there Six' in various guises has always been a powerful tool but it does feel like its designed by engineers rather than users. PWS is far more useable than its predecessors but for ease of use with DAYZ I prefer commander. Rgds LoK

m.cab 83 Posted September 26, 2013 You can use STEAM and Dayz Commander without problems (just actvate "launch using steam" in dayz commander). Works perfect! FYI i updated DayZ to the latest version with steam and use DayZ Commander without problems!
mzltv 2281 Posted September 26, 2013 You can download JSRS through Commander? o.oThat's what one of my team-mates said, anyway. I had the files already before I knew it was compatible with the Musty servers.
PooPoo 13 Posted September 26, 2013 DayZ commander is ridiculously easy to use. I thought you would have to do all these weird installations but all you literally do is click install, then run it... Then go to the install tab and click on install DayZ... That's it.
Dr.Duff 211 Posted September 26, 2013 Installed vie Steam, launched through Commander. I used to like Steam just for the auto-run feature using the over-lay. I don't know of any bugs regarding the Steam version, I've always used it without any problems.
klesh 2423 Posted September 26, 2013 DayZ Commander You can still use auto-run overlay if you have ArmaOA via steam and click the use steam checkboxes in Commander.

Well if you can then I can't find the option. Oh well, not sure if it's compatible with my server anyway...
