Cheerleader zombies? I'm afraid it's not set in America. You're more likely to get a European Football team. They actually use their FEET in football. IDK, if there's a Chernarussian football team.

Sorry, I am sure they have cheerleaders, if not how about equivalent female sporty types, perhaps shot putters?

Just wait a year and a half or so.  Eventually Rocket wants to allow mod support.  Someone will create the "S.T.A.L.K.E.R. : The Chernarussian Exclusion Zone" mod eventually.  It'll have Bloodsuckers, fleshes, tishkano, boars, psuedodogs, psuedogiants, controllers, snorks, zombies with guns, and my favorite, poltergiests.

Oh I forgot one. Chimera.  I heard there is one that hunts northwest of Gvozdno.  If you go to the gas anomaly field near the town, bring a friend with a shotgun to watch your back.

Why would they want to mod a former mod and not make it themselves? Trying to ride on the wave of success eh? >:(

no, you misunderstand.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games are no longer. No one is allowed to make them.  The guys who made the Stalker games now work at 4A games (the guys who make the Metro) or at Vostok Games (the guys creating Survivarium).

Modding DayZ to be set in the Stalker universe would be universally cool.

Yeah but they should make it from scratch rather than building on a buggy basis imo. Although the game was really great i didn't really like the engine because it was also clunky as ArmA imo and i would like to see it with a better engine than the current RV engine or at least with another game as a basis. You know yourself how awkward looking melee is and if the guys who made the engine can't really make melee work properly ( what i saw in the vids didn't really convince me because it looked the same just faster but it's a lot better than what the mod offers ) will amateurs be able to alter the engine to do so?

Why are you against so people casually greating Stalker in DayZ for fun.  Ofcourse having a new stalker game would be better, but it isn't really possible w/o the license

I'm not against people trying to create something they want. But there are a lot of half assed mods for ArmA.

Lol I said it would be a mod for DayZ.   I never said it should be a mod for Arma 2 DayZ Mod.  I am talking about modding DayZ (the game or SA or whatever you want to call it)

If they actually allow it, but that will take some time anyway since the SA will be in a pre Alpha state because they never built upon an upgraded version of the previous game, they started from scratch with all the known bugs they removed from the previous version back. If you have seen how ArmA 3 was released you wouldn't trust them to release a game without bugs.

My original post clearly stated "Just wait a year and a half or so.  Eventually Rocket wants to allow mod support.  Someone will create the "S.T.A.L.K.E.R. : The Chernarussian Exclusion Zone" mod eventually."
