Ok so guys what is your favorite gun in dayz,not for power or how rare it is just for looks and how it handles,(range,bullet drop recoil scope,not for how many bullets it takes to kill).
Not for power because it would be all dmrs up in the grill.

My Favorite gun to use is the AKS-74 Kobra.

 

I know people don't like the sight and stuff but I have always thought it was a cool gun.

The Lee Enfield is the DayZ hipster gun, no one truly likes it but it feels good to say as you rub your chin covered in week old stubble.

4.m249 (with a scope is better)

dont dis the lee,its the dmr that is overrated I drop dmrs for lees,bet you have never killed a bandit with the axe.

I like the way it looks, I like the way it sounds and I like the way it fires true every single time.

 

I like the way there is little to no bullet drop over 5 - 600 metres, I like the fact that ammo spawns everywhere.

 

I like the iron sights, the overall feel of the gun in first person and I like the fact that most players shit a brick when they here one discharged close to them.

 

I like it's versatility, it suit close quarters, mid range and even the occasional cheeky sniping session. 

 

it's a superb iconic weapon.,

only ever got that in namalsk when some AI doped it had one mag and shot some zeds,Its used in arma2 alot by the bad guys though so I know what its like seems cool the one with the night scope is crazy rare though.

This gun is what you get in lots of the op servers that start you with a map winchester g17 and have 500 cars,the its op but we wont say that out loud kinda a server.

So I have used it alot and I like it,that being said its cool that you can break the ammo down into double barrel ammo.

It is more the optic systems that do it for me. I like the CCO and ACOG systems and so guns with those are preferred.

Lol I was mostly kidding about the DayZ hipster reference. I have many hack kills in my DayZ playtime, just a week ago I caught a sniper with a hatchet. Sometimes I prefer a hatchet over an Enfield for close quarters since I just run around people and hit them when they miss. I personally hate the Enfield and double barrel and will drop both for a hatchet in most instances.

Do you really drop the DMR for the Enfield? That is just crazy to me, the DMR is accurate and you can spam shots like crazy in close range. I was accused of using an aimbot the other day when I popped out of a car and spammed five rounds toward a player who just shot out my driver. Not saying it is fair or that it is not OP, just pointing out that it is very powerful gun with a decent sight and ability to fight in close quarters.

Its all good man,and ya I do drop the dmr sometimes but only if I only have  1 or 2 mags and the lee has like 5.

Also good kill with the axe nothing like running off the beach getting a axe then killing some bandit who is trying to kill freash spawns and stealing all his stuff.

ya i know how it is some times numbers and stats are cool I just dont think like that unless I am playing a rpg like fallout 2 where stats really matter.
