Can I Run DayZ Mod? (POST HERE)

I'm finally planning to move from a laptop to a desktop, this is what I've got, any advices, thoughts, experiences?

ASRock 990FX EXTREME3 (AMD990FX/SB950, ATX)
AMD FX6300™ X6 BOX AM3+, 3.5GHz, 6MB L2, 8MB L3, 95W 32nm (Might go for a FX 8320 as well)
CoolerMaster Hyper T4 (RR-T4-18PK-R1) (Please advice if it's a good cooler for this CPU with slight overclocking)
8GB (4x2GB) DDR3 (brand not chosen yet)
500GB-SATA-16MB-7200 Western Digital "Scorpio Black (WD5000BPKT)"
Sapphire Radeon HD 7790 1024 MB GDDR5, 128 bit (Might go for a XFX HD 7850 but this will take some time)
Can't find a good PSU in my country, only low brands (Chieftec, Xilence, etc.), might order a good XFX 550-600W PSU from Ebay.

Went AMD due to low budget which is on my 1st place.

No. You'd get 50+ with everything maxed, object detail (only affects the amount of grass loaded) set to 'normal' and post-process effects disabled though.

You'd struggle with very low FPS on low settings.

Why you MUST have +60fps in cherno, is that youre goal?

 

Heres a secret:

Even with a overclocked Titan and a overclocked i5@+4,5ghz you will struggle getting +60 fps in cherno on high/very high sometimes

Its the arma 2 engine, when shit goes down in big towns (cherno/electro) ALL computers will struggle hard keeping the fps up

 

Tip:

Overclock youre cpu to the MAX, if its an i7,disable HT (Hyper trading) as this sometimes makes games slower.

Indeed. I'm running an i5 3570k @ 4.4Ghz with an EVGA GTX 780 and I don't get a solid 60 in Elektro (haven't been to Cherno since buying the 780).

 

I play on the graphics settings that I suggested and hover around 50 FPS in Elektro. It's not perfect but the game looks great and it's more than playable, so no complaints from me.

Ok first off are you in the UK? If so then I know of 2 PC's for you that will suit you need. Both are pre built but both require a GPU and a OS. Meaning both are a little bit over £300.

i3 ivy bridge cpu 1tb hard drive 8gb ram. But again needs windows and gpu. I would go for the 6670 again (not amazing card but will do) and a £15 windows xp from ebay total will come to £330. But this one is more upgradable. You can slap in a i5 sometime down the line in this system and a better GPU. But if you do plan on upgrading in future you will need a better PSU.

Just to add to the systems I found. Ebuyer are also selling a ivy bridge Pentium desktop with 6gb ram and windows 7. All that it needs is a GPU. http://www.ebuyer.com/519868-zoostorm-desktop-pc-7873-0461 so if I where you I would buy that (if your in the UK). Slap in a cheap 6670 (dabs.com sell 6670 for £43 I think) and you have your self a decent gaming pc for a little over £300. It is also upgradable so you can slap in a ivy bridge i5 in there in the future without changing motherboards.
