bsturak2@verizon.net 86 Posted August 27, 2013 As an admin, I always gotta watch for the damn hackers, So I was just looking around the admin map when I saw someone move from cherno to balota in a split second, I figured it could just be laggy so I teleported to balota and he was on top of the comms building. Then I saw a zombie standing right next to him, not attacking. I figured he had god mode on. So I shot a few shots around him, and sure enough he teleports 200 meters away and just runs away from there. I tell the other admins and they spectate him, but he doesn't cheat. I even set a trap, I put a URAL with a few broken wheels in the road where he will encounter it. If he was a hacker, he would just heal it, but, he doesn't. He repairs it with a wheel. I was disappointed.....But I kept watching. Then he made his mistake. He died so I teleported 100m away and watched him. Then he disappears and I find him just outside NWAF. So we kick him and his partner. But then everyone is just teleported and every vehicle just falls down and blows up. And it was just me and one other admin on so we had to scramble fast to fix this, since people were dieing and weren't listening to us/...But we eventually shut down the server, restarted it and just everyone was freaking out. One guy said "I want my heli back" just so many times it pissed me off. But we got everyone a good amount of their stuff back... So my question, if this happened to you, would you leave the server for good? I know it would piss me off. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
DemonGroover 8836 Posted August 27, 2013 Well it's not the servers fault if a hacker does this. Sure it could piss you off, but it sounds like you got most of their stuff back. DayZeeSurvivor 22 Posted August 27, 2013 I wouldnt call that creep a hacker. Dont meen to glorify hackers but they do poses some kind of skills and intelligence. My guess is, that what hit your server, was most likely a scripter and I would like to make the distinction because its most likely some 13 year old dead scrotum that is running something they have no clue of how to make. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
