When starting on the beach look for barns, deer stands and cities(when experienced with possible bandits.

The first thing you will need to look for is a hatched, with this zeds will be less a problem when agro.

Then look for a city, when doing this also look for high value barns(the white ones wit hay in them) for a lee-enfield.

the lee-enfield is to defend yourself against bandits you will not equip it when walking so you dont seem a valuable target.

When you arrive at a city the first thing you need to do is scan the area in the distance for zeds, when there are zeds that means there are other players(possibly bandits).

if there are players bee very careful and try to avoid the streets.

In the city look for a grocery shop and look for a map, compass and binoculars, you also need as manny food and drinks(best are refillable flasks)as you can carry.

When you have these items you can go try to get to the northern airfield to get some epic items like ghilly suit so you can blend in the nature.

I hope it will hep some new players :D

People will not attack you for a Lee Enfield. Most people won't even pick up a Lee Enfield if it's on the floor, let alone attack someone for one.

don't forget knife and matches..

to hide your enfield you'll need a bigger backpack than the starter and you won't waste room for that..

the enfield is cool against players but i suggest you to stay with the hatchet, while you loot towns, unless you really want troubles with the infected and players. i usually pick a primary only when i have a gun to deal with zombals or when i'm leaving cherno/elektro

Anything that walks around is a valuable target to those who don't understand the game.

So, your new on the forum and your second post is about how new players should approach the game? I dont want to judge you for it, but many of the things you have mentioned are quite obvious and if new players havent already looked up all the facts on where to find what gear, I am sure they are going to find out just fine by themselves, as we did when the game came out. You have propably written the post with the best of intentions, but you might have wanted to add some more "tips" on things that you have learned from experience?

And also, to sum up, eople will shoot you for no reason what so ever. Not because of the way you walk, talk look or what gear you have. But because some people just want to watch the world burn.

Sure thing, Ghillie and Camo clothing are found only on residential loot and heli crash sites.

I've never seen any on NWAF

Every time i go the the nwaf i find a ghillie, but to be honest i find them allot in cherno in residentials:)

I usually go to the nwaf to find a sniper rifle to counter snip bandits.

narkoman14, do you leave the same comment on the other 300 beginner guides?

Everything said here is quite obvious, and now a days people will attack you for anything. If you get spotted, be prepared to return fire. People rarely ever rob people now a days...

Sad truth.

as my sig says some men do want to watch the world burn, im here to stop them.  So, if you see a hero with an m249 on a public hive beware.

I don't see the point in hiding your weapon

It's an apocalypse, people enjoy shooting people

When I played WarZ (dont talk, i quit lol) we always left bambi's alone. But we let them know they make a wrong step it will be their last. no point in killing someone for shit you dont need, especially if theyre not going to be a challenge

While the blue marked part is right for RL situations because people who love to KoS would be the same people hurting other people nowadays, basically the same and not the average person who just wants to get through the day. The average person doesn't turn into a murderer instantaniously in an apocalype, it would take some time for it to happen IF it happens at all, there are enough people who will go the pacifist way no matter what. The second part ( green ) sounds a bit game thinking...there is and should be no challenge in anything but surviving imo, fighting should be the last instance, it should apply to the game too and i hope they don't water down the game for extreme casual players ( meaning people who don't want to invest time but want all the goodies because i won't expect anything either if i don't do something for it in exchange ).
