The only "code" is how you choose to conduct your own self when playing the game. Other players should respect that, but they don't and bitch about every person that kills them who they didn't see first or were unfortunate to get caught by.   I continue to laugh at how this community justifies PVP, but ONLY if you follow certain rules. Don't follow them and you're scum who will trigger the butthurt victim to rage on the forums about it.

 

Next we'll need to implement a feature where you have to initiate a request to engage in battle with someone and then have it accepted by them to proceed.

Quoted for Truth!! The KoS discussion is void and invalid. If it is what people choose to do then there is fuck-all anyone can do about it. Adapt or die. As dayz was intended.
