I've grown abit tiresome of the mod, due to the on going same process that gets so boring after a year.

 

I also grew a sense of nostalgia for the early days of the mod where it was fun, fresh, new and people weren't treating dayz like a generic FPS game.

 

Now i just mainly muck about on these forums that seems to be abit dead lately or i just play different games.

 

Waiting patiently for the DayZ Standalone.

Still play nearly every day. I like the interaction with other players (good or bad) a lot and being mr. Friendly choppa pilot picking up bambis, dropping them somewhere and then picking them up again cause they died. Vanilla private hive.

Lately I've been playing DayZero and Epoch.

 

Earlier I picked up Lingor with a buddy and it was super fun. Also considering getting some friends together and taking a stab at the public hive again.

Playing something close to Vanilla as well. Seems a lot of people are branching off towards other mods of the game like Waste Land, Breaking Point, Origins, Over Watch etc.

I would be playing actively, though week on, week off [due to situation with parents and their seperate internet connections] if my laptop wasn't in pieces at my dad's. Though only on Balota buddies' "vanilla" weapons plus server unless i downloaded namalsk and try it. or get other versions and try them.

 

Hopefully it will be fixed for the long weekend my school will be having.

I am playing very rarely, almost can say I stopped, mostly because it become too easy for me and PvP is way better in other mods.

Not so much in the terms 'Screw the Mod' but I've not played it for about 5 or 6 months; neither do I intend to.

Just watch PsiSyndicate's "first look" of the new DayZ Unleashed mod.  Looks pretty interesting and the map is even larger than Chernarus.

 

Seems like there's some interesting/cool features that are pretty unique to it, so I will probably be giving this one a shot sometime this week.

I still play vanilla :P Im going back to my old days (dayz) trying to survive properly instead of hunting players, its bringing back the feelings i use to have for the game :)

I normally play some form of DayZ about once a week,or once every couple of weeks depending on whether my friends want to play or not. I still enjoy it, there are just too many other games that take up my time during the week.

I play in periods, then I leave for months. The basic game is more or less done once you secure a vehicle, and I am not into PvP. So I restart every now and then.

Not quite any of the poll options ... I'm steadily playing less DayZ as time goes on.  However, that is not because the game concept has become less appealing.

 

I have simply given up on the broken nature of so much in the game itself, which has accounted for the vast majority of my deaths and setbacks this year.
