If you are new I advice you not to go to the cities. Go to the small towns to loot.. When u got enough tool for hunting, you could survive also in nature.

 

I remember being infected for 2-3 hours long.. Hunting everywhere to keep my blood high. And when finally antibiotics spawned in hospital, I was like full health (= Hunting for life.

Hunting for meat is a good way to get more blood if you don't have a friend playing with you :). Never been infected, what's it like?

When u eat fresh meat, drink dirty water, hit by an infected zed, you get sick which reduces your hp dramatically. And there is not a lot of antibiotics spawning in the game. Finding one is like winning a lottery.. So if you get infected, its most likely you'll end up dying in a very small amount of time..

Yep, I just had a AKM and a stanag, looted a helicopter crash with medical loot, no antibiotics....

I died of infection a few minutes later in a town up north....

Don't get hit by viral infected. You shouldn't be close to any infected when you're in the open and don't stand close to walls. If you can do that you won't get infected

It could be said (by me) that Origins is for nancies who want to lock up their loot so no one can touch it.

Origins is pretty enjoyable. I got bored of it quickly as people could have an unlimited arsenal in their house. Definitely for a different type of player though.

Oh, I don't build houses, I just search for Bandits and look around underground labs :) I just like the Map design of Tavi and the stuff they add.
