Private Military Company DLC causing problems with DayZ!

The image above shows the error, I bought Private Military Company off of Amazon.com and downloaded it. I also own the Arma 2 games on Amazon so they're installed correctly. How can I solve this? I've tried a lot of methods and I've reisntalled DayZ a few times.

No, I know PMC works with DayZ there's just something I did wrong which is why the posts subject is asking for help with PMC installation.

Why are you running the pmc mod to join a Dayz server?

Addons should be in your operation arrowhead folder 

Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead\Addons 

Once you done this and get kicked for not being signed just remove them (....pbo) from the above addons directory =)

There is only 2 that you need, characters  and vehicles I believe?

I uninstalled PMC and DayZ works fine, so why the hell can't I use PMC? I can play the singleplayer campaign it's just not letting me use it on DayZ.

 

@Fully: I deleted everything except the characters.pbo addon and it still didnt work.

Because I bought the game back in 2012 when DayZ first became public, got Arma Combined Ops for $10 which was an insane deal at the time considering it didn't drop nearly as low on Steam ($15) for a long long time after.

I got an update. I removed all the .pbo files and it worked, then I added the characters.pbo into the directory and it's no longer working. What the hell so I can't even use ANY of the PMC files?

Yes same error, I've even tried Six Launcher.

Sorry mate, I have no idea how them PMC models work with dayz. But I have being told that is were the high res textures come from.
Same with the vehicles,  interiors have low res textures.

I definitely did the first time around, either way I just ran it again and it didn't work.

 

1. Installed Arma2

2. Installed Arma2OA

3. Ran Arma 2 to menu, shut it down. Did the same to OA.

4. Installed PMC and ran THAT to menu, shut it down after.

5. Installed beta patch through DayZ Commander, then the DayZ Mod.

6. Can't connect get kicked, error seen in the very first post appears.

 

If I remove the .pbo files from the PMC folder it works fine, I can play DayZ. I can also play the single player for PMC just fine. Can ANYONE please help!

 

I bought all of the games from Amazon digital downloads as well.

How exactly do I use that shortcut?

Copy that code by selecting, right click and copy (Ctrl + c)

Go to desktop right click to being up the menu go to new then shortcut

In the shortcut box that is displayed right click and paste (Ctrl + v) that code into the box.

Click next - Type a name for this shortcut - rename it Dayz and click Finish.

btw as far as i know the PMC dlc adds high res textures such as the High res hero clothing

but if you installed a retail version of the dlc the 1.59 patch (i think this version maybe 1.60) has an update for the dlc in it 

 

what you should do is install arma 2, arma2 oa, any dlc you own then patch arma 2 to 1.11 and then arma2 oa to 1.62 then run the games to the menus  making sure one of the updates that you install is the 1.59 update if you update before the install of the dlc the lite versions get updated not the full versions

 in this case the key means that the file hash doesn't match the servers

Just wanna say thanks for at least trying to help, I'm so bummed out that I can't get this to work. How can I check if my keys are working? I know my Amazon game key is good as it let me install it, but I can't get it to work on DayZ

 

When I looked up that error though Demon, it says it has nothing to do with your key and mostly with files.

I own Arma 2 retail disk version 1, you have to upgrade to v 1.05, then v 1.11
OA steam version 1.59, you have to upgrade to v 1.62
NO DLC's
You have to install the beta patch 103718
Install DayZ 1.7.7

You don't get it though, I can play DayZ FINE! I seriously just move the .pbo files out of the PMC folder in arma 2 OA and then it works just like normal. I am trying to get my DayZ to let me my PMC expansion so I can get the good textures!
