I just don't get Starry Sobor

I feel like I have conquered and unraveled virtually every important spot on the map. I have a firm grasp on the specific strategies of cherno, elektro, berezino, nw, neaf, balota.

But one place I don't understand Starry. Every time I visit there I feel like I am doing something wrong. Some of the time this feeling is reinforced by getting cut in half by an akm or popped by a dmr.

What is the strategy of looting Starry?

What are tips to avoid or win engagements in Starry?

I usually have one other person with me. Where should one of us over watch?

Stary has a very small point of interest and once someone sees you death will follow soon, as you have to stop frequently to inspect loot. Always swing around and come from the north. It will give you the chance to sneak up on someone who is camping stary sniper hill.

Stary can have heavy traffic from players coming up from the coast or down from the NWAF.

I agree with intensity, if you plan on hitting Stary you have to check out sniper hill first otherwise you are dead meat.

I do generally come in from the East with a scoped gun, you can sus out Sniper hill and the rest of the town for zeds from behind a nice little rock pile below Pop Ivan Hill.

You know the number of players who loot the supermarket in full view of Stary's hill is quite amusing.

I sat there once with a DMR and i could quite easily have sniped 3-4 players in about 15 mins. You can basically see all the way into the store.

Deathtrap is a nice word.

If I'm coming from the south, I clear out the popular sniping positions south of town by crawling/rolling to and from the positions. I then get eyes on town and scan the northern hills and inside the town.

I never went to starry. I think all citys are the same for strategy for survive.

I only stay in elektro here are my tips for survive.

1-Kill everey player without think

2-sometimes asking player to give blood but shoot when animation is finished before they get back the gun. Is tricky, don't shoot too soon or no blood for you

3-If you get infection go to die in quiet place like next to docks then when respawning run back to your stuff. Miracel cured. :P

4-dont worry about stuff. You need just food, drink, wepon, ammo.

5-stay close to hospitals for supplies and busy for targets

my longest time alive in elektro is 2 days and I kill 14 players before I am headshot with doubl barrel shotgun in the school :|

I only go to Starry if I need military ammo.

Unless you're teamed up and have someone covering the sniper hill, do not go into the centre of Starry.

Ideally, have someone on the hill and another friend on the other side of the hill making sure your sniper doesn't get flanked.

Always keep out of view of "Sniper Hill," if you have time come down the hill to enter Stary, and don't go in unless you have fairly good defensive weaponry. As well as crouch walking.

That's pretty sad.

 

I have currently got my char to starry, plan to loot it tonight with a friend, we have a DMR, a M24 and a VS3 :P
