Nerf the zombie hit/infection ratio!!!

I was playing with my friend one day and we were really kitted, an l86 holo, m24,m14 aim, and a ural! We were running low on bloodbags so we went into chernogorsk to loot the hospital, we picked up some zed agro on the way (to be expected) when we got into the hospital a zed hit us on the way in and I was infected! Lucky we found some antibiotics, but on the way back to our ural we both got hit by a zed and got Infected! And in general almost every single time I got hit by a zed I got infected! Maybe a nerf would do us all some good?

Please DONT change anything, people just need to realize DayZ is a ZOMBIE APOCALPYSE game, zombies should stay a challenge. If their so hard and annoying, then go back to the old ways of crawling through towns.

Zeds are hard to deal with. However the balance between infection/bleeding/and hit power needs a little more work.

Try crawling through Cherno and avoiding zombies. I know it sounds crazy but it used to be the old tactic of DayZ looting and you'll live and probably get zero aggro at all.

No, stop running around like an idiot. This game has a stealth aspect, use it to avoid getting seen let alone hit by zeds. The game is challenging thanks to the new zombie behaviours, why would we want to take a step back?

The infection ratio does need a lot of work... as surviving can be a hassle for newly spawned players, but honestly, why nerf the damage? It's fine as is. I think one thing that's (Thank god!) being worked on the most for the SA is hitboxes. DayZ's hitboxes are atrocious, and so is the AI. Maybe lower the infection rate a little, or make it so that zombies that can infect look a bit more... . rabid? ( I think they're called viral zombies) Maybe torn clothing, more vicious growling, and that would help. I only sprint when I'm leaving a city, or in an area with no zeds, like on the roads far north. Shufflin' will save your life.

I thought about it and I actually like the idea and ratio of the current infection.

It provides a REAL threat at ALL times. True to the spirit of the game you can never be totally safe, anywhere.

Yes you will die sometimes and it will feel shitty. That's the game!

Try being stealthy, like crawling through may be slower but the zombies will be less aware. Also more realisticely if zombies or zeds were real you'd be infected as easily.
