Just an idea if Thermal Weapons are introduced in the far future

Rocket said in one interview that in the far future that they may include thermal weapons my advice would if you did this to include thermal shielding blankets that you can wear. Obviously these would be extremely rare like the weapons.

Pretty short topic just wanted to give my idea.

They will just add the thermal scope from ArmA 3 and that's it.

I'm talking about the standalone if they decide to add them again there should be some countermeasures such as a thermal shielding blanket.

Hopefully the countermeasures will be the extreme rarity to the point of not existing.

Guillie suit seems like an easy one, or maybe just wrap yourself up in tinfoil or someting to use it as countermeasure, Though tinfoil is quite common but maybe that's a good thing if we would have thermal weapons sometime.

Ehhh I'm not a fan of thermal weapons. I also don't think it's even remotely plausible you'd find a $5,000-14,000 dollar thermal scope in some poor, rural, ex-Soviet farmland... meh.

To be honest I doubt if Rocket ever said that thermal-scoped weapons would be added to the game. OP can you please provide a link?

When i read the post i thought about nukes, napalm and all that shit... like "thermo..." = "thermal". There are lots of countermeasures like walls...if they add it they should take into account that lasting rain will render these devices almost ineffective.

Agreed thermal weapons should never be in the game.

When he means ultra rare high end loot hopefully he just means a handful of high powered military arms like rpgs and 50 caliber rifles.

Loot will be spawned globally in the SA, so if there were rare thermal weapons, only a small handful people would have them.
