m_mitchell 27 Posted June 11, 2013 More importantly choppers and planes. I can say I've been rammed quite a lot with at least 10 times in the past few weeks. Generally we are hovering or something after looting bodies and sites nicely stocking the chopper with ever so precious gear and someone yells "Chopper!" and something dives into us. Most of the time a mere bambi or hacker. On dayz zombieland the server I play on which is down because of the host being ddosed again... *sigh* there are added ospreys which are really cool and a tank essentially but then there is the problem. They go 400kmph and you can't out fly them :/ they WILL get you eventually and you will lose your heli or die trying.
SmashT 10907 Posted June 11, 2013 (edited) Sometimes it doesn't go to plan. Seriously though I don't have a problem with it, only issue I have is that the biplane was/is bulletproof so your gunners couldn't shoot it down if it was trying to ram you (I think) Edited June 11, 2013 by SmashT

applejaxc 2500 Posted June 11, 2013 You can outfly an Osprey easy, if you're a good pilot. The awkward plane/helicopter Osprey controls force the Osprey to take huge births to turn while going top speed. Most helicopters can pull their nose up, flip around, and use ArmA's weird physics to literally throw themselves in the opposite direction. The Osprey will take too much time to recover to catch up. Really? Didn't know that but it seems like he could keep swinging around and forcing you to constantly dodge his osprey ram attacks.
