I can't play Dayz

I just bought Dayz and I have a few problems with it.

1. I use Dayz Commander, and I can never find a normal server. All the servers you either spawn with stuff or there's something wrong with it. I just want to ply a normal server.

2. Dayz is EXTREMELY laggy for me. I can't even play it because it's way too laggy. I spent $25.00 for nothing if Dayz is just going to lag when I play it.

3. I can't go into 3rd person when playing Dayz. I use Enter [Num] but it doesn't work.

Hopefully you guys can help me, I'd greatly appreciate it.

I figured out how to get into 3rd person, but I'm still very laggy.

I did that thing where you open Arma 2 with Notepad and change the GPU to 1 and I'm still very laggy.

Please can someone help me so I didn't just completely waste $25.00 for a game I can't even play.

GO into Options - video options - find the words advanced options put everything on very low and disable all the effects.

Wrong. You spent the money on ARMA II, the mod is free, but requires the ARMA II game, nothing else.

Besides, ARMA II is a great game and has more than just the DayZ mod.

@Helicopter Hunter, wrong, I bought Arma 2 just for Dayz. I don't care about Arma and I'm not going to play it. So yes, I HAD to buy Arma for Dayz, but I only bought it for Dayz.

I made my GPU = 1, I turned all my settings downs really low, and I turned down my mouse down all the way, and I'm still really laggy.

Sorry, but with those spec's i dont think you'll ever get a decent frame rate.

That is your problem but it doesn't make you less wrong when you say you bought DayZ. As for playing it, I think you need a new machine.
