Noob question i know but....

I know this is a very noob question but i am a noob in need of some help. How the heck can i use items from my back pack? Im still trying to understand that aspect of the game

Access your gear, click on your backpack, move items out of backpack into main inventory to use them... careful not to put things in too small of a backpack or they'll be deleted.

Backpacks can be black holes...be careful my friend. Sometimes they are worse than other players...

it's hard to understand the ways of the backpack but if you're in a loot pile and open it you get a full display of your backpack but if you're not then you don't and you've got to click the arrow to send it too inventory

Right click on the backpack and then click the arrow that is in the top left hand corner, that will transfer the item over to your inventory and vice versa. Be careful, like everyone said, putting too bigger items in small backpacks will eat it.

Better than I could explain it. Just make sure if you're putting weapons and whatnot in your bag to take care. Rifles take 10 slots and sidearms take 5. If there isn't that many free slots, it will simply delete the weapon.

sidearms take 6 not 5* just be carefull

Just went in-game on the latest vanilla DayZ patch, it's only 5. The picture on some make take up 6, but it only takes up 5 slots.
