[SA] Rare starting spawn

How about having a chance to trigger rare starting location :

  • Wake up in broken car
  • Wake up in hause / in bed covered in blood
  • Wake up on boat near coast
  • Wake up on roof / on roof with damaged parachute
  • Wake up stuck on tree with paracchute

Maybe give 1-2% of rare spawn for every hour you survived in world?

So when you played for 5 hours a died on next start you have 5-10% chance to tugger rare spawn :I

Make it 0.2% and 1% per hour and we'll call it rare.

(I do like this suggestion, honestly.)

Good idea, but shoud be based on days or weeks.

It would be really cool to wake up in a car or even a tent with some hunting gear like a crossbow or whatnot.

On topic: I don't particularly like the idea either. I quite like the whole washing up the shore spiel.

What's wrong with the current rare spawn points? i.e. not Kamenka. ;D

you know what, this is one of the best ideas I've heard of in a while.. this is excellent !

I don't see how this could be a bad idea at all. So simple yet something like this could put an awesome gameplay structure/impact on the game in a more detailed and experimental sense resulting in a unique situation driven experience.

The special spawn locations could be very rare of course, something to spice it up without it really affecting or overpowering anything in particular.Now for that reason i don't see why this couldn't happen.. imagine after the 500th beach spawn, you start off a new character & wake up as a lone old priest in a fortified church in a random small town at dusk with impending pitch black darkness there will be no full moon TONIGHT. Armed with nothing but petrol cans and bottles for Molotov's, a compass with a torch and a radio fuzzing with no contact, 10's of kilometers from any other survivor the town is completely infested with the church in the town center ...Its been weeks now and there is only dog food left..you cant stay for longer than 1 more night, max.. Tonight is the night. You have to devise a plan from the resources you have(or dont have rather) left to work out an exit strategy. You can gain access to the roof of the church.. u craft some molotovs and decide to use them as decoys to throw and burn some of the vehicles in the street to create large bon fires to lure & distract the infected then escape under the cover of darkness. Or maybe something simple like you wake up naked in the forest with a raw carrot shoved up your arsehole. The ideas are endless !

Ok, so obviously the church idea is a bit detailed but you catch my drift of the " experimental situations " idea, a unique experience that happens from a rare " start spawn " where some situations can be more detailed then others that require some sort of decision making process to an overall exist strategy. Perhaps ideas of the church idea caliber could even be administered to players that the game deems to be "advanced" to not put to much pressure on an unsuspected fresh noob.

Please understand this more so falls under my fantasy list so approach the idea with an open mind.. the situations wouldn't be extremely difficult.. just something to make people think about and plan their actions carefully in a mediocre puzzle sense from the start point of view that wouldn't make the game un fun or un fair thus rewarding the player with some nice basic start items for their trouble :D I think making interesting spawn ideas could add so much more diversity to an already authentic sandbox environment ! !

This could even be a good idea for a competition " invent the best start idea" and the dev team implements the best 1 and it occurs every 10918439048 spawns ^_^

Regardless, From now on when I'm bored shitless I'm going to spend my time pondering the ideas of dayz spawn situations ^_^
