Do you have to re-fuel Helicopters at Gas Stations

_{I have a Helicopter and I really hate having to refuel all my cars at gas stations and when my helicopter needs fuel I was wondering if I have to refuel it at gas stations? If so that will be such a pain, thanks!}

Well considering they usually run on avgas or kerosene it's actually incredibly illogical but yes, you refuel them at gas stations.

Never thought of it before but you are right - they probably should only be able to be refueled at airports.

I hate this loophole and believe av fuel should be super rare and available at airfields only. But yes, you can refuel with unleaded 4 start petrol.

The fuel is called JP8. Basically every military vehicle runs off of it. HMMVE's, Deuce and a half's, STRIKERS, C130, Helos. Also can run off Diesel. They said that the HMMVE's could run off gas in an emergency during driving school, but I never tried it.

My favorite heli refuel spot is the fuel tank at the barn NW of Vybor. Very few zombie spawns, you can land right next to it, so you don't have to run back and forth with your jerry cans. It's the next best thing to the auto-refuel script.

You don't need to be at a GAS station. Just anywhere with a fuel tank (lots of barns and industrials have them).

But don't listen to the "Alt-F4" guys, that's a joke.

Pressing "Right Shift + P" beside a fuel tank will auto-refill your heli/car/jerrys.

But yes I agree there should be avgas and jet fuel and even diesel!

this always made me have a bad feeling about all this "helicopter" stuff

actually you would need to find a kerosene ank at the NWAF Balota or NEAF to refuel them, yet your average russian 50 people town has a tank full of kerosene in the backyard... :rolleyes:

refueling near cherno... bad idea better try 052 098, its a very small town on the top of a hill, land the chopper right next to the tank and zombies aren't a problem anyway
