Well, that could have been A LOT more organized. There was some BS in that, no doubt.

The organizers are getting better. That went pretty smooth considering.

The most annoying thing was when on the main stream the map was on instead of the real stream. But you could always switch over to another stream so in the end yeah it seemed to go pretty smooth. Btw I don't understand all the people in the chat raging at the Staff(in the last phase) for rigging the game. The players knew there were staff members present at the last phase to act as last-standing enemy NPC's. That's also the reason zombies are included, to act as annoying things that can disrupt normal gameplay and thus improve the experience imo.

On a positive note, DayZ peaked at 49,534 viewers on Twitch.tv during the SurvivorGameZ event, second only to League of Legends.

I thought Sacriel was impressive, Hybrid Panda was hilarious (trying to talk his way down from the stand off was brilliant). Lewis, words fail me, lol. Two lives and still died from stupidity.

I switched from Matt's stream to the main one for literally 5 seconds, went back and he was dead. Some guys found weapons really quickly...

Sacriel was fooled in the end by the staff and gave away his position trying to shoot them. But overall well played!

It was a delayed start but I thought it was very well done. Hope to see more stuff like this!

I had Oshi on first as to be honest I prefer his style I find Sacriel stream get dull to be honest and fred is far more entertaining it has to be said and comes over more natural.

So of course he got capped early doors more or less saving Sac. So put on Sac’s and to be honest it got a bit dull with him appearing to be half lost and left behind anything but impressive Phil if anything all over the place without a plan :) but to be fair was half dead and lucky he was not finished off within the first minutes (strange the other player left him alive unless he too was under fire). Jumped to I guess the guy you are talking about Phil trying to talk his way down form a Tower and it was hilarious and he was throwing smoke trying to get players to come over to kill whoever had him pinned up there. Great stuff with the player interaction and banter and what the game needs.

Put on Sac’s again to see him shot someone on a road, then he spotted two guys lower down and took shots at them ( Don’t know if he killed them) then run up to where he got killed. Seen him get lucky with the guy one on one at the top as both had no ammo then after that he got killed. I headed out the house after that so missed the end.

But if that was Staff as was described by sac what are they doing? Leave the players to fight it out fairly. Stop what I’d call interference. The Sac guy was concentrating on guys on a roof and had three shots. If the game was done right he should never had even to question if “ Is that Staff” as it should be “Player” as that’s all that should be out there. The Staff kind of spoiled one of the last ones when it was down to a few players in a town and they started shooting hence distracting everyone with the noise. ( learn to let the game play out)

Good for them doing it all the same. And I think every one has got better with regards to organisation. Yeah I seen Lewis had been killed twice how did that come about?????

Yeah, the shenanigans at the tower...lol

As to Sac, he got a lot of kills and I found the 'little boy lost in the woods' routine amusing

I think he shot at least one member of staff and I agree they didn't need to be there, or at least so visible..

The event itself is pretty brilliant. The interference by staff was very bad idea. Camping a roof with a dmr in the key location? The players should kill each other.

Sacriel played very well, it was very anticlimatic and lame seeing him die to a staff member.

I was watching psi & panda as I predicted they'll play very silly & bad and thus will be the most entertaining. I was right

Indeed,

I was waiting the start and watching sacriels stream but got tired.... went to bed then, now watched clips.

Events idea is brilliant, staff was retarted with their shit...

Better organisation next time, and no interfering. They should stay in their chopper or use skins that standout.

Staff next time, please.

What fucking genius had the idea of allowing staff to interfere? What reason did they have to be there, seriously? I was watching bits and pieces, so maybe I missed the reason?

Anyways, it would be nice if it were possible to record the game at a code level so that someone could take that recording and edit it in "director mode", a la Driver.

I'll tell you what players like Sac work hard to get to positions clinging on to life and building suspense best they can. They support the event being more mainstream and known and as such should be treated with a bit more respect from the Staff.

If it was in fact Staff that killed him then they just cheated the viewers and player in the end. I’m not going to watch for hours for some idiot staffing that is well equipped and knows were everyone is or coming from end up killing. They did not have to work for the position or weapon and I’d like to actually have them respond if they read in here?

If your going to do that its not survival games it Staff V and we all know that’s just pratish!!!!!! Please make this known next game so I can forget to watch it. If the staff are not grown up enough to keep out the game then join the game and play at the same disadvantage as the rest and get others to admin it.

The staff were apparently NPC's who wouldn't shoot players at a distance but would engage if the player was up close.

I understand that it's role-play to perhaps include them as army personnel at the base, but what purpose did they really serve? REALLY? You have to ask yourselves the following question: if they weren't there, would the event have suffered? No.

It almost seemed as though the staff needed a role and wanted to be involved. If you're of no use to anyone, why the hell are you on a server that is staging a competition, simply getting in the way of ACTUAL competitors?

I wasn't involved and have no affiliation for any player who competed. I watched the event however, and those were my thoughts after watching.

Fanboy much?

What, people aren't allowed to be fans now? Do us a favour and get off your high horse, climb down that ivory tower and unclench those buttocks of righteous indignation.

Fanboy much?

Yeah mate that’s why I said in my previous post I was bored for a bit on his stream and preferred his partners stream to start with - Sound supper Fanboy??? Yeah thought not! I was moving about I had that Panda at the tower on for while too.

Next time don’t be a obvious Prat lets us guess your one as its more fun in the long run.

The point was made referring to who I had watched the most so could appreciate how hard they had worked in game. Simple really I choose to watch one player more than the others as this is how I feel you appreciate the game more. Tried the guys running the game but they missed the action most times and jumped about too much on the last games. Not that I need to explain.

But you do feel cheated when the guy you are watching for hours is killed by someone other than the very players he’s is meant to be playing against.

In the prior Survivor games, the staff served as invisible cameras. The issue then was they made noise which confused the players, and if I recall also aggroed zombies which also confused the players.

They should have fixed those issues and stuck with that. It was a better way to have staff involved.
