DayZ SP

Aside from renting a server and setting to a white list is their any way to play DayZ alone? I like the challenge of Zombie survival vs being shot in the back by someone that I just helped or for no reason at all. Along with the hackers and power hungry admin DayZ is less and less fun to play but I still like the game but would like to play solo for a while. Is it possible or even legal?

Please keep the comments about the above topic and no I don't care if you think the game would be boring alone and so on so no need to leave those sorts of comments either.

Which is pretty much DayZ singleplayer.

Oh, just read the last bit. Well, you could open the DayZ files and edit singleplayer in yourself, or you could download something sketchy and risk getting your CD key stolen. For me, DayZ SP is called ArmA 2 Combined Operations.

No, I simply don't care what those people have to say. It's my thread and I am just looking for an answer to my question not every ones opinion on SP being boring or not.

Find a vanilla server (i play on one) and Play it like single player, just vanish into the hills and survive on your own away from everything else while killing and avoiding zombies, with the first sign of another survivor either run in opposite direction or go prone on floor and wait till they have gone,

That's how i play it (iv'e made a kinda SP experience for myself) i'm on 21 days surviving with the basic kit, no high end gear nothing.My sig for reference and the server gets highly populated the fun part is the paranoia fear of being found with so many people in the server,

to this day in the 4 months iv'e been playing i haven't killed anyone yet.

And i also play another server for the other side of day z, vehicles, bases people etc etc etc, i prefer the vanilla side more

he is probably limited on internet which is the only reason to play single player dayz I guess.

Funny enough reading through his original i don't think so, i presume he wants to play online in an empty server by himself, but he could make it a SP experience even in a full server which is what i do in some ways

There is no official DayZ SP, DayZ Mod is MP only.

Download any SP files at your own risk.
