Wrongfully Banned from server

Hi,

I would like to formally submit a complaint about a ban I received from server US 8546 (1.7.6.1/103419) (Recruit|3D:ON|CH:ON) - (Official) No PVP Friendly server| Vilayer.com

They claim to be a no pvp server. It is already illegal to ban people for pvping under rule as per the server admin rules:

Upon logging in I was promptly sniped by someone with an AS 50.

After typing in side chat for a while and recovering my loot I was banned for claiming that I would kill the guy who shot me.

I believe this is admin abuse and blatant rule breaking, and that action should be taken.

It's not a private hive, it's an official server.

These guys run a carebear wonderland, and ban anyone they suspect of PVP... This isn't in the spirit of DayZ and shouldn't be allowed on the official hive. Suggest everyone that likes banditry log into this server and get a few kills before it gets taken down!

How is it a private hive when gear from that server updates to and from other official servers? this is definitely on the official hive.

Well you should put in an official ban report then. This isn't the correct place to do it. If it is an official server, they have no right to do that.

P.S. The server is most likely run by immature people. It's breaking Villayer people, not braking. lol

Put the server name in the title. TO be honest I'm not entirely sure what you should do. I suggest checking google to see who to contact :)

Hey guy thanks for the input, and yeah I saw the spelling error too.

This is definitely official hive, not private hive. This is confirmed because I had the same kit from my last log out on another official server.

It says to post these issues specifically in Server General.

You can't--and you wouldn't unless you didn't understand the proper rules for hosting a server. There's plenty of this out there, sadly. I suggest moving to a new official hive server, as there's really no official support for this anymore. There are still some good official hives out there I know of: US 3533, 520, 1992, and my own 3480. Take a look around, and find yourself a nice home.
