As far as I know, no.

I've heard it'll have a Minecraft-style payment method in the way that if you buy it in alpha, it'll cost less than if you buy it in beta or the full game.

Its a one off payment, the earlier you get in on the standalone alpha the cheaper it will be,

There will be no further payments for updates.

Price at release is mostly speculation but is expected to be around €20.
