I'm pretty sure we could just have ALL of scotland as a map (78,387 km²)or maybe ALL of the UK (229,848 km²) I would just hide in my town scavenging for food....like I would IRL hoping for rescue ect

Map seize is technically limited to a maximum seize so you will never see large distance travelling in real time...so no :P . What I mean is a series of smaller maps maybe including somekind of scripted travel system.

Assuming developers decide to introduce nuke-blasted areas, (last ditch containement effort and all that,) territories could be prohibitive for any other then high altitude travel. Then they could script a fuel/travel time/direction through no man's land with long range planes only. I guess radio communication should be established first with target area (available map) cause nobody would fly blind in these conditions. Sounds good as game mechanics?

It would be better if it is on an island(some kind like the map of far cry 3 because we all know that is better to loot small vilages than towns) maybe near ecuator like... South America or other don't say im choosing my own country because i'm .....romanian
