The Laughing Man is shady as hell- here is why

I also posted this on Reddit because I was furious that they would come into my server and do something like this. From posting this on Reddit, I was informed that their community/admins are widely known for being extremely shady; from the way they advertise their server on other servers, join other servers and fuck their shit up, and their admins are totally bat shit craycray.

Anyway, this is what I posted on Reddit:

We (the admins) were told by some of the players that our server was getting fucked with (woop-de-doo, that's dayz), but afterwards there was a message advertising another server which were (once) extremely popular. Sadly, we weren't on when this happened so we missed it.

Our server is Awesome Dayz moved up in rank extremely fast and is super popular:

Luckily he was able to record what happened. You've probably seen this before, but the server advertisement? Can someone explain this? Do you know anything about the Laughing Man servers? I think this was completely fucking ridiculous.

It really sucks, man. I heard TLM servers were once pretty popular so I was mostly mind blown that this happened. shadyasfuck.

That's a bit dodgy but nothing much will be done.

They will deny being involved whether or not they are aware of it (Which one would assume they would be if they are advertising like that)

I recall a thread where someone accused the admins of allowing someone to hack on the conditions they helped improve their anti-hack or pointed out other hackers, I can't remember exactly what it was.

Still they are shady as, well shade.

So basically there is a hack available (apparently) that by default advertises TheLaughingMan's server, when it first popped up (around November) TLM reported it to the community dev team and a number of GUID's and IP's were subsequently banned. He also gladly provided his own IP/GUID and joined various server to prove it wasn't him.

There have been a number of other accusations surrounding TLM's server more recently with his admins caught abusing their power, TLM admitting he is buddies with a bunch of hackers who make anti-hax for his server, accusations other servers are DDosD or hacked if they come close to passing TLM in ranking etc.

People can draw their own conclusions. Personally I don't think these advertisements have anything to do with TLM himself, hackers can put any server name they want up on the screen and really this sort of thing would only damage the reputation of the servers being advertised, given other recent revelations though I would avoid playing there, I just wouldn't base that decision on these "advertisements" as they can be taken with a grain of salt.

The laughing man has paid people to take down top servers this included DDoS attacks and hackers going onto servers and destroying them, I know about this because I tried to find out why my server was getting DDoSed and lots of hackers were coming on every day.

EDIT: Now my server is probably going to be DDoSed again...

Unfortunately without anything to back it up it's just an accusation. Don't get me wrong, there's some shady business going on and people have posted evidence of this. Let's just make sure we don't turn this into a random hate thread.
