Optics mode disabled?

Rifles like the G36 are supposed to have dual scopes - a red dot and a ACOG.

I just found a G36 K and the optics button doesn't work.

I mapped it from / (NUMPAD) to another key and that didn't work either.

Does anyone know why this isn't working?

I believe only the G36A camo is the only one that the dual sights work on.

The G36k in my experience just doesn't work, although this could just be me.

^ What he said, I don't think I've ever gotten a G36K to work for me. DayZ or basic ArmA2.

It works on all G36 variants in ace just not stock arma 2 unfortunately, maybe in an update they could patch this but that is very unlikely due to arma 3 being out.

running with a 36k at the moment and the dual sights work for me no bother. *shrugs*

Hello there

One needs a mod like @ANZINS to make many Vanilla A2 weapons use both the CQB sights as well as optics. OA weapons have this but many of the originals do not. Many acogs etc.

Very weird... same server, same character... G36K optics working today.

Maybe it needed a server restart or something.
