I try to identify the person, then with my friends I purposely go near and say stuff like "If you see ____ just shoot them down." and "I hate ____. If you find him/her shoot on sight."

People who behave like total dicks in-game are usually always complete pricks in real life. They can't play the game any other way, because that would mean having some real skill, which these types of player don't have! They were probably bullies at school and haven't achieved anything in life that hasn't resulted in someone else's suffering or grief! So they manifest that in their online character, true story!

I cant just say yes or no, sorry to be a pain.

On the whole, no, I will not harm a fresh spawn.

But, if that fresh spawn has a makarov and looks twitchy then I may well drop him/her.

A fresh unarmed spawn then never would i touch a hair on their innocent heads..

I don't see the point of killing new spawns. I have been killed a few times after just spawning and i actually wonder why you would do it, especially if spawning unarmed. Armed spawns, then yes i can see the reasoning.

Are players dicks for killing a new spawn? I don't necessarily think so but i'd like to know the reason. Is it to get the bandit skin? Increase the murder count?

Perhaps there should be extra stats - murders (unarmed victims), murders (armed victims). The perhaps that murder count wont look so bad ass for some players.

I voted no, reason i've been a new spawn/bambi and been shot in the head several times, so i know what it's like, the frustration of spawning in only to die within 30 seconds, in some cases i bet it puts people off playing again.

As for myself i haven't as yet in 100+ hours killed one single person, bandaged the odd person iv'e come across, 90% of my time is spent way out in the wilderness away from humanity in the furthest reaches of the map.

It's fine, I'm not the guy that sees an admin and freaks out. Your just another forum poster that also help takes care of the forum so hats off to ya. But When I make part 3, I'll reconsider and add more options.

Would I shoot a fresh spawn on a beach? Abso-freaking-lutely!

Why? Because they are not part of my group. Because they pose a potential threat that I would rather not have to worry about at that point in time, or near future point in time.

However, the situations will dictate if I will actually do it. I don't just go running down the beach looking for fresh spawns to shoot. But if I happen to be around that area and come across one then yes, he may bite the bullet. But if I spot him farther out and he doesn't know i'm there, and he seems to be moving away from me, then I would probably let him live.

My goal is survival and PvP. I don't want to shoot until it's necessary. If i'm stalking someone I don't want to shoot someone who is not an immediate threat and give away my position. Depending on the situation though, I may go axe him a couple questions.
